We ask for a $200 nonrefundable deposit to secure your share. Your deposit is taken off the final invoice made payable to the farm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eWe try to butcher our hogs at 250 - 300 lbs (live weight). Once they are butchered and cleaned up, they lose about 40% of that weight (head, organs, etc). That leaves about 150 - 180 lbs for the whole hog (hanging weight).
